Society Meetings

The Pilgrim Edward Doty Society meets every three years in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

The next Triennial Meeting is scheduled for Fall of 2017 in Plymouth.

We are now selling raffle tickets to win a handmade quilt that has a Plymouth theme and includes the passenger list of the Mayflower.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Drawing will take place at the 2017 Triennial Meeting. You need not be present to win.

About the Quilt:Made and donated by Lenora Bristol. The quilt will fit a queen size bed. It has a center panel with the ledger of the pilgrims on the Mayflower, and different pictures showing what life was like in the early days when the pilgrims were settling Plymouth. It is surrounded by 9-patches with a maritime theme. (Click to see full quilt.) Everything is stripped together with a 3-piece strip of material in blue and a tan that matches the 9-patch theme. The center strip also has the maritime theme. It is tied in a delft blue color which helps to tie the colors together, and the edges are bound in blue.
